Pastor Willis Gordon

I received  the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior in 1989 and have served faithfully in the San Antonio congregation under pastor Richard  Rubi. In 1997 I was called into the ministry and was launched into Corpus Christi Tx.

In that same year I began to be involved in the South Texas Boot Camp and have faithfully served as a drill instructor for the last 26 years. In the year 2000 Pastor Richard, Rubi asked me to come back into our Mother Church to assist him to which I gratefully responded and was on staff for four years during the four years one of my duties was to not only work as a drill instructor with the Bootcamp but also to work through the administrative portion of boot camp and set up of the Bootcamp. In the year 2004 I was launched again this time to pioneer a church in Houston, Texas and after 9 years of ministry, Pastor Rubi called me again to come and assist him on staff. In 2013 I assume the pastorate of the southside church where I have been for the last 10 years. We have a wonderful congregation with 10 churches 2 of them are launching churches. Three of  our 10 churches are overseas missionaries, our church in Barbados has launched their first baby church.

Over the last 26 years I have and am currently participating in Boot camps in San Antonio, New Mexico and North Carolina.  I have also pioneered the Bootcamp in Romania as the senior drill instructor, as well as participated in the El Dorado Park, South African Bootcamp.

I have a heavy burden of heart to raise up the next generation to preach the gospel throughout the nations I believe that the greatest generation is the generation that is up-and-coming and believe that I am a privileged person to be able to in someway or form encourage and help the next generation to fulfill the call of God for their lives.
